Because
of its strong commitment to community health awareness,
the Central Coast Visiting Nurse Association offers a
number of services through VNA Community Services. VNA
works closely with the Monterey County Health Department
to coordinate these efforts and to meet the changing
healthcare needs of the community.
Most immunizations are given at the VNA Monterey office
at 5 Lower Ragsdale in Ryan Ranch Business Park. Public
immunization clinics also may be offered such as the
fall public flu clinics. All immunizations are offered
at VNA's cost, which is competitive with other charges
in the community. Health screenings, such as our
Employee Wellness Program, can be provided for employees
directly at the business site, and cholesterol and
diabetes testing is done both at the Monterey office and
at other announced locations.
